Hack Your Health ("Hack Your Health", "we", "us", "our") is a personalised-nutrition service operated by Momentum Focus Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 17107646). Our registered company details are available on the UK Companies House register, and our registered office address is available on request. You can reach us at hyh@momentumfocus.org.
These Terms & Conditions, together with our privacy information (section 14), form the agreement between you and us when you use our website (hyh.momentumfocus.org), join our waitlist, place a reservation or order, or use any of our products or services. By using the site, paying a deposit, or placing an order, you confirm that you accept these terms.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of England & Wales, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
2Definitions
- Blend — the personalised daily nutrition product we formulate for you, supplied in your chosen format (capsules, daily drink, or sachets).
- Hair test / HTMA — the hair tissue mineral analysis and toxic-element screen used to help inform your personalisation.
- AI Coach — the optional software feature that offers general wellness guidance and adjusts your plan over time.
- Plan / Subscription — a recurring membership (e.g. Essential, Complete + AI Coach, Household) billed on a repeating basis.
- Founding deposit — the optional £10 reservation payment described in section 9.
- Kit — the physical needle-free sampling kit sent to you where your plan includes hair testing.
3Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 18 years old to buy from us or hold an account. Products may be prepared for members of a household of any age (including children and older adults) only where an adult account-holder places and supervises the order and confirms they are authorised to do so on that person's behalf.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us — including age, health conditions, medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, and allergies and intolerances. Our formulation relies on this information being complete and correct. You agree to keep it up to date and to tell us of any change before your next order.
You are responsible for keeping any account credentials secure and for activity that takes place under your account.
4Health & medical disclaimer
Hack Your Health provides food supplements and general wellness support — not a medical service. Our products, content, hair testing and AI Coach are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and are not a substitute for advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.
Always speak to your doctor or a qualified clinician before starting, stopping or combining supplements — especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are giving products to a child, are an older adult, have a medical condition, or take any medication. If you have a medical emergency, contact the emergency services or your doctor. Do not delay seeking medical advice because of anything you read or receive from us.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake stated on your product.
5Hair testing & personalisation
Where your plan includes hair testing, we (or our partner laboratory) analyse a small hair sample to indicate mineral trends and toxic-element exposures. This helps inform — but does not solely determine — your personalised formulation, which also draws on your goals, history and self-reported information.
You understand and agree that:
- Hair tissue mineral analysis is a screening indicator, not a diagnostic test. It does not diagnose disease and is not an allergy test. Reported allergies and intolerances are taken from what you tell us and are treated as the source of truth for exclusions.
- Results can be affected by hair treatments, products, environment and sampling, and should be interpreted as trends over time.
- Testing and laboratory analysis may be carried out by a third-party partner. Turnaround times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- Personalisation and dosing are applied within conservative safety limits; certain ingredients are capped, age-restricted, gated behind testing, or excluded for pregnancy, children or other groups, and some cases may be referred to a clinician before we proceed.
6AI Coach & camera check-ins
The AI Coach and any camera-based check-in are optional wellness tools that provide general, non-diagnostic guidance. Any visual "scan" or check-in is illustrative and must not be relied on as a medical assessment.
Camera features run only with your explicit consent, are designed with privacy by design, and can be declined or turned off at any time without losing access to your core plan. Automated guidance may be imperfect; you remain responsible for your own health decisions and should seek professional advice where appropriate.
7Products, formats & "organic" / "clean" claims
Your Blend is available in three formats — capsules, daily drink and sachets — using the same personalised formula where practicable. Exact ingredients, doses and appearance may vary between formats and between orders as your formulation is updated.
Where we describe ingredients as "organic", "organic-sourced" or "clean", we mean ingredients that are organically sourced and/or third-party tested. Specific organic-certification details are provided per product where applicable; a general description on the website is not a guarantee that every ingredient in every Blend holds a specific certification. If a certification matters to you, please check the product information for your Blend or contact us before ordering.
Product images and descriptions are for illustration. We may substitute an ingredient with a suitable equivalent (for example, a plant-based alternative) for safety, allergen or supply reasons.
8Orders, plans & subscriptions
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order (or, for a plan, when your subscription begins). We may decline or cancel an order — for example if we cannot safely formulate for you, if an item is unavailable, or if there is an obvious pricing error — and will refund any payment taken for a declined order.
Plans (such as Essential, Complete + AI Coach and Household) are recurring subscriptions billed in advance on a repeating basis until cancelled. Some plans include a one-time kit or first-order charge in addition to the recurring fee, which will be shown clearly at checkout before you pay. By subscribing you authorise us and our payment processor to charge the applicable amount for each billing period.
You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals (see section 11). Unless we agree otherwise, cancellation does not automatically refund a billing period already started, but you keep access for the period you have paid for.
9The £10 founding reservation deposit
As an option, you may pay a £10 founding reservation fee instead of buying a full plan straight away. This secures your founding-member place and is credited in full toward your first order if you go ahead.
The founding fee is a reservation fee: it holds a limited founding place, unlocks founding pricing, and is credited in full to your first order. It is refunded if we cannot fulfil your order or we cancel the arrangement, and it does not override your statutory cancellation rights on any product order you place (section 11) — in particular, where a distance-cancellation right applies before your personalised blend has been made, you keep it. If you simply decide not to proceed after reserving, we may retain the £10 as a genuine reservation fee. We make this clear before you pay.
10Prices, payment & tax
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and, where applicable, include VAT at the prevailing rate. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before you pay. We may change prices from time to time, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed; for subscriptions we will give you reasonable notice of any price change before it takes effect, and you may cancel if you do not accept it.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide. If a payment fails, we may retry it or suspend the plan until payment is resolved. All amounts are payable in full without deduction.
11Cancellations, returns & refunds
Your legal right to cancel (cooling-off). For most online purchases you have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, starting the day after you receive the goods (or, for a service or subscription, the day after the contract is made). To cancel, email hyh@momentumfocus.org with your order details. Where the right applies, we will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back or your evidence of return.
Important exceptions. By law, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to certain items, including:
- goods made to your specification or clearly personalised (your custom-formulated Blend is made specifically for you);
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed; and
- goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire quickly.
This means an opened, used or personalised Blend generally cannot be returned for a refund. If you cancel a service (such as testing or coaching) after asking us to begin during the cooling-off period, we may charge for what has already been provided.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items. Nothing above affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or not of satisfactory quality, contact us and you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Please do not consume a product you believe is faulty.
Subscriptions. You can cancel future renewals at any time via your account or by emailing us; cancel before your next billing date to avoid the next charge. The founding deposit is treated as set out in section 9.
12Delivery & risk
We deliver to addresses within the areas shown at checkout. Delivery and turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in physical goods passes to you on delivery. If no one is available to receive a delivery, the carrier's standard process applies. Please tell us promptly if an order does not arrive within a reasonable time so we can help.
13Safety, storage & your responsibilities
- Read the product information supplied with your Blend and follow the stated intake. Do not exceed the recommended amount.
- Keep supplements out of the reach of children and store as directed.
- Stop use and seek advice if you experience an adverse reaction, and tell us so we can update your formulation.
- Do not use a product after its use-by/best-before date or if the seal is broken on arrival.
- Tell us immediately about any new allergy, medication, pregnancy or health change before your next order.
14Data protection & privacy
We take your privacy seriously and process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. To provide our service we collect information such as your contact details, the health and lifestyle information you give us, hair-test results, order and payment records (payment card data is handled by Stripe, not stored by us), and any camera check-in data you choose to provide.
Health information and hair-test results are special-category data. We process them with your explicit consent for the purpose of formulating and adjusting your nutrition plan and providing the service you ask for, and we apply appropriate security measures. Camera features operate only with your explicit consent and can be withdrawn at any time.
We use trusted processors (for example, our payment provider, laboratory partner and email provider) to deliver the service, and we do not sell your personal data. You have rights over your data — including access, correction, deletion, and withdrawing consent. To exercise these rights, or for our full privacy notice, contact hyh@momentumfocus.org. Withdrawing consent to health-data processing may mean we can no longer provide a personalised product.
15Intellectual property
The website, branding, content, formulation logic, software and AI Coach are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property rights. You may use them only for your personal, non-commercial use of our service. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or exploit any part without our written permission. Any personalised report we provide is for your own use.
16Waitlist & founding pre-orders
Joining the waitlist places no obligation on you to buy and no obligation on us to supply. Founding pre-orders are early commitments made before general availability: your full-plan purchase begins when your kit ships or your plan starts, and you may cancel a pre-order at any time before it begins for a refund of amounts paid for that pre-order (the separate founding deposit is treated under section 9). Availability, founding pricing and founding places are limited and may be withdrawn or changed.
17Our responsibility to you
We will provide our service with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this agreement or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for a breach of your statutory rights in relation to the products. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for business losses, and our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Because outcomes depend on many personal factors, we do not guarantee any specific health, wellness or performance result.
18Events outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example, supply-chain disruption, laboratory delays, carrier failures, or acts of government). If such an event occurs, we will let you know and, where a delay is significant, you may cancel the affected order for a refund of amounts paid for goods not yet provided.
19Complaints & how to contact us
If something is wrong, please tell us first — most issues are resolved quickly. Email hyh@momentumfocus.org and we will respond as soon as we can. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may be able to use an alternative dispute-resolution service, and your statutory rights and access to the courts are unaffected.
20Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — for example, to reflect changes in our products, the law, or how we operate. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you place it. We will post the current version here with an updated date, and for material changes affecting an active subscription we will give you reasonable notice.
21Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your local courts as your consumer rights allow.
These Terms & Conditions are provided in good faith and in plain English. They set out our current policies for a founding launch and do not remove or reduce your statutory rights as a consumer.
